day three is coming to a close
day one consisted of the longest plane ride ever, the airlines not giving us our bags at the end of it, a bus ride where i tried so hard to stay awake because THERE ARE PALM TREES HERE (why didn't anybody mention this to me??? SO COOL), a strange new hostel full of strange new people, me driving on the wrong side of the road for the first time and getting honked at in a huge way, us almost buying a car from a friendly canadian guy and his japanese friend "Yoda", and then both of us finally collapsing at 6pm and sleeping for hours and hours
day two was us turning down Yoda's car, and then doing all kinds of touristy things - such as the sky tower, reading in the park, taking pictures of everything, going out for dinner, then going to bed early
day three is today
and today we went to davenport and i got a little tiny sunburn and i napped on the beach and read my book and we wandered around a lot and hiked/walked up this hill that turned out to not be quite as cool as it ought to have been considering the pain in the ass that was walking up it, and now we are just trying really hard to get up the courage to go out to a pub after dinner.... we'll see... high probability of chickening out
and so far i think i like it here
i'm horribly homesick, as always
and that sucks alot
like, that sucks so much i can's even describe how much that sucks
but this too shall pass
so anyways
i basically have nothing interesting to say
i need a shower
yup, that's it
peace out gees

Why hello there my love.. one and only... brightness in my eye... ahahha i could go on and on. but I won't!
So, how are you.. 'Day three' sure seemed eventful! I wish I was there with you! Im already saving up my money for our backpack across europe!! you have NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I A!!! WOOT WOOT! IT'S GOING TO BE A BLAST! but enjoy NZ and AUSTRALIA now and (meant in the least bit cheezy...) enjoy every moment! live everymoment! hahah
I love you. jen
you cannot fathom how proud i am of you for turning down that car. i shed a tear of joy.
i have so many questions for you! did you get you bags in the end? did you end up going to the bar? what's the weather like there? what are your plans for the next few days? is internet easy to come by? is everything expensive over there? are people very friendly? how's your leg/back? etc etc
okay well keep up the good work and don't let this homesickness thing hold you back! remember that we're not going anywhere; we'll all be here when you get back! especially me. i will never leave kingston haha
in closing, hope you're sufficiently reppin' the 6-1-3 in all your globetrotting escapades.
